    Ghent: so much city…

Centrally situated in the heart of Flanders and at the cross-roads of European economy, Ghent is the ideal place to live, work, visit and do business. Attracted by a climate of entrepreneurship and innovation and by a pool of creative young talent, investors and companies have since long discovered “Europe’s best kept secret”, as the late French president François Mitterand once called Ghent.

Ghent is not only a dazzingly authentic historic city (7th on Lonely Planet's top 10 of must see places in 2011) where every mediaeval façade has its modern counterpart. The city is also home to contemporary events, internationally reputed museums, enchanting illumination, culinary delights and the largest pedestrian shopping area in Europe.

Since long a MIPIM exhibitor, the city of Ghent welcomes you at the booth of the Flanders Ghent Development Group to discover exciting real estate opportunities and urbanism projects. Experience “the sound of Ghent”at our booth.
