Otis is the Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe for Heitman's European Private Equity group and Co-Portfolio Manager for Heitman European Property Partners III (HEPP III) and Portfolio Manager for Heitman European Property Partners IV (HEPP IV).
Prior to joining Heitman, he worked for ABP Investments in the Netherlands, where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for sourcing, structuring and managing non-listed real estate investments on behalf of ABP’s European and Asia Pacific Strategic Funds. Previous to ABP, Otis was the Managing Director of Five Mounts Properties Europe, a real estate private equity firm targeting opportunistic returns. He has also worked for ING Real Estate Asset Management in the Netherlands and RREEF in the United States.
Otis received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as, a Master of Real Estate designation from the Universiteit van Amsterdam. He is also a frequent guest speaker at conferences regarding the European property markets.
