    About São Paulo City Hall

    The Municipal Secretariat for International Relations is the São Paulo Mayor´s Office department responsible for leading the city towards the consolidation of its emergence in the international scenario and strengthening its influence worldwide.

    Its goals include establishing cooperation ties with local, regional and national governments throughout the world, supporting the activities of other city´s departments, attracting and facilitating foreign investment and promoting companies overseas, always aiming at fostering the sustainable socioeconomic development of Brazil´s largest city.

    The Secretariat was created in 2001 and is currently under the administration of Secretary Alfredo Cotait Neto and the Deputy Secretary, Guilherme Mattar.
