Josip Kardun was born inSplitin 1974. He studied at theGoetheUniversityinFrankfurt.
In 2000, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics of theRepublicofCroatia. In 2001, he joined Sonae Sierra Management Germany as General Manager, where he was responsible for the center management and leasing inGermanyand the neighboring countries.
In 2007, he came as Managing Director to ECE Projektmanagement International GmbH. Since 2009 he has been Deputy Managing Director Development of the ECE Group. In this function he is mainly responsible for ECE’s M&A business as well as the entry in new countries.
Josip Kardun is Chairman of the Next Generation Advisory Group of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
ECE develops, plans, builds, leases out and manages large commercial real estate in the sectors Shopping, Office, Traffic, and Industries since 1965 and is active in 16 European countries. He has over ten years of real estate investment experience and has been working for ING REIM since 1999. In his time with the company he has served in various key roles. These include setting up ING REIM’s operations in Italy and Brazil and has launched and managed a number of ING REIM funds, most notably the ING Real Estate Retail Property Partnership Southern Europe and the ING Real Estate Italian Retail Fund.
Florencio comes with a vast experience in the sector having successfully invested and subsequently managed over EUR 2 billion in shopping centres across different countries in Europe. Florencio holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Belgrano University in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Master of Business Administration from Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management in The Netherlands.
