    Hugh is Clinical Associate Professor in New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate where he has taught for 27 years. He heads his own consulting practice, Hugh F. Kelly Real Estate Economics. Prior to 2001, he was chief economist for Landauer Associates.

    Hugh serves as the President of the Board of Brooklyn Catholic Charities’ affordable housing development corporation.  He is also a board member of corporate entities with responsibility for the Catholic Church’s physical assets in Brooklyn and Queens, NY.

    Hugh is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (and will be its Chairman in 2014). Hugh has published more than 250 articles in industry and academic journals. His Ph.D dissertation at the University of Ulster (U.K)  investigated  “24-hour cities and commercial real estate investment performance.”

    The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate (www.scps.nyu.edu/schack) was founded in 1967, at the initiative of prominent real estate leaders who encouraged NYU to establish an academic center that provided an educational foundation for professionals within their industry.     Julian Lyon has been in the real estate business since 1984 and has been a regular attendee at MIPIM since its first year.  Julian has experience of urban planning zoning, residential development management, commercial development and investment, corporate restructuring, landlord and tenant relationships and international business (including having run businesses in Poland for seven years from 1992 to 1998),  Most recently, Julian has been European Real Estate Manager at General Motors in Europe, with particular responsibility for UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium and the Nordics.

    Julian is a member of the RICS Corporate Occupier Group and ACRE, and is a past Chair of the Property Group of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).  he is a regular writer of articles and has led many responses to government legislation in the UK - in particular in the arena of Property Taxation.  Julian is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has qualified with distinction as a Master in Business Administration at the University Manchester.

    Outside the property industry, Julian is married with a daughter and is a Trustee of the South East Music Trust which supports the provision of Classical Music from its base in Guildford.

    Nicole Escue has over 20 years’ experience in Real Estate, most recently in the Corporate Real Estate Departments of Time Warner, Inc., The Walt Disney Company, Ltd. and in her current position with  Morgan Stanley, where she is Head of Corporate Real Estate for Europe.  She has worked in virtually every major market globally and specialises in real estate strategy and highly complex transactions.  She has recently restructured several leases resulting in significant cost savings for her Firm, and continues to monitor her portfolio for cost saving opportunities.  Miss Escue sits on the RICS Occupiers Group and holds an honours degree in Economics from Hollins University and an MBA (real estate) from Georgia State University.

    See Lian Ong  is an Executive Director of Davis Langdon & Seah (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a member of Davis Langdon & Seah International.  He has more than 35 years of working experience in the public and private sectors of the construction industry. 

    He is a Fellow member of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM), a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia and an Accredited Mediator with the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).

    He is past Chairman of the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) and Past President of ISM.    See Lian is a regular speaker at various conferences.

    In recognition of his vast contributions to the profession and the property and construction industry, See Lian was awarded the PAQS Medal (2007), Malaysian Surveyor of the Year (2008) and ICEC Award of Appreciation (2008).
